What happens if I have trouble paying back my loan?
If you expect that you might run into trouble paying back your loan on time, we recommend that you purchase our add-on service B Secure. B Secure is a convenient service that borrowers can purchase to change their payment schedules and thus facilitate the repayment of the loan if they encounter difficult situations. You can learn more about B Secure here.
If you need to lower your monthly payments for a longer period of time, we recommend you to join our premium customer level B Secure+. B Secure+ customers have a variety of extra benefits, like taking a payment holiday from the loan principal, for instance. You can read more about B Secure+ here.
We send automatic reminders to notify you about an upcoming payment date. If a payment date is missed, automated debt notifications go out the next day after the debt occurs, and periodically after that. Some debt notifications are subject to an additional fee according to each country’s legislation and may differ from country to country. Please refer to the fees page to learn more.*
If you are unable to pay the debt even after repeated reminders and three consecutive monthly payments are partially or fully in arrears, Bondora will be forced to cancel your loan agreement(s) and appeal to the court to recover the entire debt.
